Because of the cancellations of March, May, and June SAT sittings, it is anticipated that there will be extremely high demand for registration spots at testing centers when registration opens this month for the August 29th exam.
College Board has added more exam sittings in the fall, on September 29, October 3, November 7, and December 5. Traditionally, summer has always been a high season for SAT, with many students taking the exam in August to have their college applications ready by the first round deadlines. But not only rising seniors sign up to take the test in summer. Younger students who are involved in competitive sports often take the SAT during the long break.
Keep an eye on the College Board website to register as soon as possible, if you plan to take the SAT in August.
