Following the suit of INSEAD and Ross School of Business, Harvard Business School announced on March 18th that it would postpone the last admissions deadline by two months, to June 1.

One after another, business schools are offering various forms of relief to applicants whose GMAT and GRE exams have been canceled or postponed on account of the COVID-19 quarantine. INSEAD (whose dean tested positive for COVID-19 while traveling between the school's hubs in San Francisco and Singapore), Ross and Columbia Business School have pushed their 3rd round deadlines to late spring or summer. Vanderbilt University has waived the application fees and temporarily allowed applicants to submit self-reported GMAT and GRE scores. Kellogg School of Management transitioned to virtual admission interviews.

NYU's Stern School of Business and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania had to postpone the start of several programs that were originally scheduled to launch in spring.

In the related news, the Educational Testing Service announced that they are working on developing an online version of TOEFL that candidates would be able to take at home. The ETS management is willing to compromise on the security measures to support candidates in the countries where in-person testing is no longer possible.
